Is there some kind of rule about this yet? Would be nice if there was. Make people save the ref code links at least for here on the forum or until there's no more scheduled shows on at least, then I like to check out links if now show for a bit and people are just hanging out.

Its gone well beyond the model or their webmaster doing it, or the occasional basic link with no ref code in them just to be helpful when their webmaster isn't there. There was one show last week with 5 different people promoting their own baf code for MFC links, and a show today with one person using there's at least 7 times that I counted, probably many more I didn't notice cause I was eating during the 1st half of the show. Frequently one model's time is over and another model is up right away to cam on Babechat, and people are still promoting going someplace else. I'm putting 123456789 on links to mock them from now on.

Someone once said, "what's wrong with a member or fan trying to help out a Model with a link?"......Well, I say nothing is wrong, if there is no hidden agenda behind it. But does it have to be a ref coded link, in hopes of making some tokens? How does that help out a Model? It doesn't, it helps out that member/fan/person. It is also a pain to see someone doing it every few minutes, especially out of the blue, not even in content to the on going chat. I see it as Spamming, as Golden is thinking, if I read him correctly.

Help the Model out with a non ref coded link.

Yeah no one should be posting links except the admin or mod. We will put a stop to this.

That would be totally different if a model asked for a link that pertains to use during the show, don't think you would get any complaints unless its a bad song. At least not until Babechat people start having their own Youtube vids with ads and flood the show with links to it.


Its the same links over and over scrolling past that get annoying during the chat, may as well be saying show your tits over and over its like demanding the users to click on your link. Especially when you are already on a cam site, a link to another cam site isn't very relevant at the time unless someone actually asked what MFC is. But 3/4 links in the chat now probably go to there, if there's actually anyone left on Babechat that doesn't know what Myfreecams is I'd be surprised.

I do have to say last week I was talking to someone about something during a break on an hour off between shows and I shared a link to a video and a link to my football site. I was chatting with someone I don't have on messenger or normally talk to, and it was a last minute thing. I don't normally share links, and I don't bitch about or start threads when other people do, but I can understand the problem. either way, I don't think it should be a ban/kick-able offense. (Kind of like saying the word cock when a model had already said it)

I wouldn't think that would be an issue either when people are just hanging out. DURING SHOWS is the key part of my statement.

After a model has already shared her wishlist link once or twice herself too, and then others keep repeating it so its in a show 5+ times is another thing overly linked during some shows, besides the MFC example.





I'm laughing at you 2 for viewing signatures. They can be permanently turned off or a person permanently ignored on a forum. The chat doesn't save ignore settings.

I didn't mention Signatures, I said within your posts.....posts about cam caps, preview pics, preview of a videos, and one time just a quote from a Model, all are linked directly to your blog site (all with ref codes too). Instead of using an image hosting site for pics, or just using the Model's own hosting site for viewing Her sets and video previews.....and posting it within your posts.

Your linking to your blog site with ref coded links within, is basically the same as what people were (hopefully "were") doing at cam show chats

On most major chats, linking and other site or model references are not allowed during a model chat.
It's only right and fair to the model online at the time that we devote full attention to her
and not have to be bothered with links and other talk not pertaining to the chat and model.
It should be enforced on BC too.

Links that draw the member away from Babe Boards should not be allowed.
If someone wants to post pictures or info, they should do it here and not link to an advertising site.

yeah i don't care about your signature, I was talking about all the threads u start of say "cam caps" where you go to it and have to go to your site and agree to the terms etc to even see the cam caps.

Lets see how far off topic we can keep getting. If people want to ban all links from the forum too then that's a totally separate issue than the chat during a model's live show. Should of started another topic rather than hijacking this one!

If people post links to the exact same thing, the extra ones are removed from the forum. They don't get to keep repeating themselves like what is happening in the chat. That is what this topic was to discuss. Since it already hijacked by a mod no less ... I really have no problem with links being banned here, but the whole forum is built around links and discussion of them.

Most the links here aren't ref code links either like this discusses happening in the chat. You click most the links here and you go to images & other files you can view free without ever clicking any ref code. They serve as people's own image hosts rather than using imagevenue, imagebam, etc which are have ads around the pics anyway. The forum itself has ads around it too, one pops up at you right at the top of every page.

Separate hosts are usually used because hosting files on forums has many limitations, except for admins or other privileged user accounts who can bypass them usually. More files you get hosted on a forum, slower things load on the forum too. If everything is backed up in case of crashes, that takes longer with all the images included rather than a link that hosts the files. More forums require just links or only clickable thumbnails that go to other hosts than ones that want you to attach files.

Also can't host videos here, and there's no host I know of that allows you to embed adult videos with forum code.
