Help! I cant type in reply boxes!

Hey, it seems I all of a sudden cannot type in any text box on this site. It only happens in firefox though. Right now Im using IE8 to type this. I used to be able to type here fine with firefox. This is the only site that I am having this problem with so idk whats going on, any ideas...

I recall having that same issue a couple times last year - I assumed it was just an occasional quirk on my system. I believe it persisted until I restarted the computer.

It hasn't happened to me in months though. I figured whatever minor issue it was got resolved when I updated Firefox back then.

Which version of Firefox are you using?

I have the newest version and Ive restarted a bunch of times, still no luck

You try clearing all your browser history, cache, logins, preferences, etc?

Or check for any new filters in blocking add-ons or anti-virus software stopping Babeboard's content? I've had to undo things I accidentally blocked before.

Or running any new downloading programs that would download your attempts to submit posts and not allow them to submit? Also had that happen before.

Never had a problem with babeboards using fire fox. I always give my comp a good cleansing once a week.

Has to be specific to the browser, whether its the browser itself or addon or program working with the browser.

What exactly happens? You still see the quick reply boxes at the bottom of a topic? Does it look normal, or faded out or something? Does it not change your mouse pointer to a text cursor when you are over it?

yeah, it looks normal. if i mouse over it the pointer turns into a text cursor, but if i click the box to type in it nothing happens, the blinking cursor that would normally show up does not
