Don't worry, it's not like he was trying to impersonate our BlueyedCass or anything - he said his nick was short for Cassanova. I suggested that he might want to think about changing his nick to the full word, in order to avoid any confusion. He didn't respond at that time, as he was mostly talking to Irina and Stacy Shey (apparently he's acquainted with them in some fashion), and he left as I was composing another message to him after the show, so we'll have to see how things turn out.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up, in order to prevent any misunderstandings.

Thanks Panthro. I was gonna suggest someone tell him the same thing, or make him change it even. It confused a few people even without him having any ill intent by it. I'd hope if there's any list of Babechat rules, no names that could be used to impersonate a model, might be added to it.

I was glad someone finally brought this to the user name, " cass' " attention, tho I think it should have come much earlier in the show. There were several "hardcore" messages typed out by this "cass" that clearly showed it was not the real Cass, or something the real Cass would type out. I agree, I think a rule should be made that no one can take on a user name which ends up being too close to one of the Model's own user name.

And how about forum members also. I noticed there is a "sillyman2" who joined the forum 12-09 on here and almost trying to be like our "own" sillyman. If anyone has noticed recently this person posted an album of Madden pics. But does not have any threads or replies to threads. You know what I am sayin? Pan? Chris S?

Ummmm, Ravenmetal, you caught me

sillyman2 is me too. Created for logistical reasons (sillyman's pic album was full).

But if this breaks an existing rule, or breaks a new rule to address similar names, then sillyman2 will be no more. I think similar names can be confusing sometimes but if a person isn't trying to impersonate a model (and this cass guy wasn't), then you learn quickly and move on. In cases where someone is trying to impersonate a model, well that's an immediate banning for sure I would think.

And I hereby relinquish any claim to sillyman to any cam model who wants to call herself sillyman - though I don't think it would be a very good marketing idea.

I know what you mean. I suppose with forum members, it is "first come, first served", or even if a compromise between the two members could be reached. One example I know is, Bear from Bryci's Forum, and Bear from Nikki's Forum. Bear from Bryci's signed up first at Babe Boards, leaving the other Bear to select "Mr Bear" as his Babe Boards user name.

I suppose too, it could always be left up to the Model, to allow a person to use a user name very similar to Their own?

It is probably possible for the admins to specify in the code certain names which are not allowed to be used. Most chat rooms have this feature.
