Trouble is so damn good, but I really have to go Old School and choose CCR. They kept blues going.

I normally would pick Long As I See The Light because John Fogerty simply sang the sh*t out of this song. Hell, little can beat a great CCR song anyway.



So I would have picked CCR but credit is given to Ray LaMontagne's recent song Trouble for even being able to stand in the ring for comparison...



IMO, Trouble will prove to be a song that will stand the test of time. It will be done by countless artists and become a hit again and again (see: I will always love you).



Ray LaMontagne's album has a few good songs, also. He reminds me of Tracey Chapman's LPs, but with Terrence Trent Darby's husky soulful voice - which is weird when you consider he is a brown snuggie away from being Ewan McGregor's Obi Wan Kenobi stand-in.

Their Both great songs, so its hard to choose a best one, trouble is really good, but i choose the CCR Song, powerful lyrics! =)

Put anyone up against em and I'd pick CCR 99 out of 100 times.
