80's Teen Icon Corey Haim, dead at 38!!!

The former child/teen actor known for roles in "Silver Bullet", "The Lost Boys", "License to Drive", "Dream A Little Dream", and A&E's "The Two Coreys" had died. Cause is yet to be determined, but is suspected it was an accidental overdose.

Wow! This makes me afraid to be a Celebrity, i mean it seems like more and more of them are dieing lately, if i ever do become one i'll definitly make sure to stay away from drugs! =)

It's really sad he died this way, but it wasn't shocking or surprising. If you know of him and Feldman's drug and alcohol fueled partying days, this was to be expected. They did have piece of mind to slow down and stop. Without proper treatment you only delay the inevitable of sinking back into old habits. Which is what happened, so it seems. I also hope that this is a wake up call to Corey Feldman to drastically change his life and battle his past demons, so that he won't relapse and have the same fate.

From what new reports are saying, He was in good health slightly. Some say he was ill with Flu like symptoms like Brittany Murphy, and possibly died the same way. Overdoing drugs to make him feel better. He apparently collapsed cause of a heart condition from his substance abuse, and maybe the drugs shut his body down.

Also TMZ had video on him recently, talking about how he had some projects in the works. Like directing, and doing "License to Fly" which I presume is a sequel to "License to Drive."

If there is something to this substance abuse and heart problems and getting flu like symptoms, it needs to be looked into and warn people about it.

He was recently dating Daisy De La Hoya of VH1's Rock of Love and Daisy of Love fame.

wow, this sucks. I guess we'll never get to see more from the male Meryl Streep. No possibility of future classics such as Prayer of the Rollerboys, Double Switch and that awesome sequel Dream a Little Dream 2. (yeah, I found those on IMDB because I couldn't think of any of his movies outside of Lost Boys)

Oh wait, he was just another fucked up child star who grew up to be a fucked up adult. What's really surprising is that he lasted this long.
