Dream On is a good song but can't match up with Sweet Child and Slash's guitar work though I can never praise GNR without adding - Axl, what an idiot!

I wonder if sweet child vs. sweet emotion would have been a better battle.

"Sweet Child 'o Mine" hands down, and I'm an old-school Aerosmith fan.

"Dream On" is one of the drearier songs I can think of, Steven Tyler at his self-indulgent worst.

"Appetite for Destruction" is the one GNR album I like and many of the songs on that album remind me of Aerosmith's fourth album, "Rocks".

I also pick Sweet Child. But if you had dream on by Nazareth I might of picked it.

GnR's worst song, versus Aerosmith's best song. No contest here.

I think a better match up would be Patience vs. Dream on

and Sweet Child of Mine vs Sweet Emotion

I'm going with Dream On. Joe Perry played one mean guitar in that song.

For me i think Dream on Totally Rocks! They play it on the radio down here where i live all the time, its like everytime i get in my car and turn on the radio i hear it! We should definitly do more Song matchup's, Korn vs Slipknot would be cool! =)

Both are great songs, but I choose GnR, only for the memories the songs brings to me
