I Had A Cell Phone Call from Jermaine Jackson
I am going to tell you a story about a cell phone call from The Jacksons Family. Believe it or not, on June 25th, 2009; I received a phone call from Michael Jackson brother, Jermaine. When I was at work, I was listening to Spanish music on the internet while I was closing the messenger pick up ticket. The the security guard, Ivan said;
Security Ivan: VJ! Turn of the music and put CNN news on the internet. Michael Jackson is dying. They rushed him to the hospital and he is really in bad condition. I think this is it for him.
I was watching the news how bad was Michael in his condition. In an hour, it was announced that Michael Joseph Jackson has passed away this afternoon at Pacific Time in L.A., CA. It broke my heart that he left the world. After his death, they played his music and I felt not listening to his music because I felt that Michael was part of our family. It wasn’t a good idea to play his music until further days.
I left the job around 7PM Eastern Time. When I got out of the elevated “N” train from Ditmars Boulevard, I walk couple of block to 21st Avenue. Here is the story. My cell rings and I answer it.
VJDJ: Hello.
Jermaine: It’s this George Herrera?
VJDJ: Yes.
Jermaine: I just found your phone from Face book. George. I just want you to know that my brother Michael (crying on the phone)just passed away this afternoon.
VJDJ: Sorry to hear that Jermaine. Honestly, your brother was the best and he was talented. I got his collections. I will remember him. I see him if he was our cousin and part of the family. I want to give my condolence to you, your brother Michael, and your family of the death you guys are dealing with. It’s part of life. I like to tell you that your brother was innocent and it was hard for him with all the trouble he faced on his life and accusation they did for him.
Jermaine: I know. He was innocent. But I accused the boy who had cancer and cause my brother his life. The boy who had cancer framed my brother and I will sue him of what he did to him. Honestly, my brother doesn’t deserve this.
VJDJ: I don’t blame you Jermaine. I don’t think your brother would do a thing like that to other children he loves. All I know that the children love slept him as a friend or relative started this rumors.
Jermaine: Thank you George. I will take this to court after my brother will be buried. I will sue his mom who trying to frame my brother.
VJDJ: Do what you have to do.
