Here is a list of useful internet browsers (with links to download them) I will update this whenever a new version comes out. Most of these you will not have a problem viewing any of the cam shows or the the chat room on Babe Chat. I recommend you keep your browser up-to-date to avoid problems. These browsers all work better than Internet Explorer (Especially with Babe Chat and are safer.

Internet Browsers

Firefox 3.5 - first recommended

Seamonkey 1.1.17 - kind of like Netscape/Mozilla(original before firefox)

Flock - Social Networking Favorite

Opera 9.64 - Use if you want to quickly get to different sites (has a speed dial feature basically)

Flash Player

Adobe Flash 10.0.22.87

If anyone wants I can add more links to things like good virus protection, flash, etc.

I recently installed an add-on for Firefox that bypasses the countdown thing on ImageVenue.

Though I suppose it's usefulness depends greatly on what kind of sites you frequent.

I didn't even know there was a counter.
Get Proxomitron or Proximodo, these programs can filter and edit the HTML code and headers before they reach the browser, that way you can change just about everything.

Except for Flash objects

GOM Player: Easily my 2ND Favorite Video Player Next to my Windows Media Player (which is of Course #1) Its a Nice Alternative and it ROCKS! =)

Just updated my firefox. And also updated my Adobe flash player to AFP10.
Firefox has this cool extention now called Personas Where as you can put background skin of your choice from a big list of featured skins or you can put one of your own on your firefox browser.

Love the program for extracting the audio to an mp3 from Youtube videos.

Thanks Golden that cool, I currently use SoundTaxi but I had to pay 20 bucks for it, but it also breaks the zune encryption so you can keep all your songs and quit your zune subscription.

FireFTP. Addon for Firefox that does FTP stuff in a tab. Makes things very convenient. It does have secure FTP too.

The easy way is the aforementioned VLC, the hard(er) way is downloading an app like GSpot and finding out which codecs are used and installing those manually. (Which doesn't always work without renaming MS codecs.... Microsoft...)

So... I have been using the latest version of Opera browser. I must say I am really impressed with it. It has some really great features. I really like the download manager also. I kind of quit using Firefox... for now anyway. Been having some stablization and slow scripts problems. And "My Yahoo" page is blocked out. That issue has not been resolved. Waiting on Fire Fox 4 to come out...sometime soon I hear. Will see what happens then.

It's where I usually go for my downloads and they have tons free stuff and helpful tips and comments on each item you might like to know more about.

So... I had to uninstall my AVG free version since I do not seem to be able to update with the AVG2011 free version. I went to C-net.com and downloaded... Avast anti virus free version. And this anti virus software is interesting. It might be even better then the AVG. Its ranked #2 on C-net.com. Also downloaded Online Armor firewall software.I had to disable it because it seems to cause some havoc with the other software. Comp started freezing up. Its a really good firewall with a lot... of different options to use.At least I have it if I change things up.
Also downloaded the FlashPeak SlimBrowser just to have another as a backup. Have not tried it out yet.
Also have added the following
C-net TechTracker. You register with the C-net site and it will let you know of updates on all your software apps.
Memory Improve Ultimate. Tracks all of your memory usage,cpu and all that. Lets you adjust to proper levels that are recommended. It said it was a freeware version... but it keeps telling me I only get 14 uses?
